Description
The price is for 1 meter of strip. 1 quantity = 1 meter. To purchase multiple meters, increase the quantity (up to 30 meters available in a single reel).
Chip-on-board technology (COB) uses a continuous layer of closely packed micro‑LEDs. Unlike traditional SMD strips with visible gaps between LEDs, COB strips have no spacing — creating a smooth, uniform line of light without visible dots, even without a diffuser.

Choosing Between 12V and 24V
- 12V (10W only): Finer cutting increments (every 8mm) — suitable for short or detailed installations; max recommended single-end run 5m.
- 24V (10W, 14.4W, 17W): Longer runs with less voltage drop and higher wattage options for brighter output; max recommended single-end run 10m; ideal for large projects or reels up to 30m.
Powering Longer Runs
- For lengths beyond 5m (12V) or 10m (24V), power from both ends or feed from the middle, or split the length into parallel runs from the driver.
- Avoid powering more than the recommended length from a single end to prevent dimming and overheating of front segments.
- Use appropriately sized cable to minimize voltage drop on longer feeds.
Selecting the Right LED Driver
- Match the voltage: Use a 12V driver for 12V strips; 24V driver for 24V strips.
- Calculate total wattage: (Watts per meter) × (Total meters powered by that driver).
- Add safety margin: Choose a driver rated at least 20–30% higher than the total wattage.
Example: 24V strip at 14.4W/m × 5m = 72W. Add 25% margin → 72W × 1.25 = 90W. Choose a 24V driver rated ≥ 90W (e.g., 100W).
