Product Description
PWM SENSOR/TOUCH DIMMER is suitable for aluminium profiles with plastic diffuser. Inner profile height 6-20 mm.
The touch dimmer can be installed behind profile's diffuser between the LED strip and DC power. The dimmer has 5 steps dimming function (0%, 25%, 50% and 100%).
The sensitive area is indicated by a LED.
Suitable for LED Profile VL-PA06-O, VL-PA07-O, VL-PA01-O, VL-PA09-O, VL-PA02-O, VL-PA07-O-2m, VL-PA06-O-2m, and other LED profiles with inner profile height 6-20 mm.
- indoor: interior design, furniture (kitchen cabinets, closets), stairs, exhibitors, , advertisement, hotels, work stations, (hardly accessible – shaded spots)
- indoor and outdoor (profile is not waterproof, not to be applied if directly exposed to weather conditions)

Does what it is supposed to, but.....

This little controller works well. Does exactly what it is supposed to, however there is one small flaw.
It won't remember the last state if power is removed and re-applied. So, if you turn it off at the power, it defaults to being "off" even if the LED strip was "on" when power was removed.
This isn't a big issue if your lights are always connected to the power, and you are using this to switch them on and off, or dim them.
However, if you want them controlled by Alexa or Google Home etc, when switch them on via voice, you only get the blue led glowing again, and have to turn them on manually.
We will see how they go, but at this stage, I am thinking of removing them, so that I can turn the lights on & off using voice control.

I reviewed this switch/dimmer in November. Unfortunately several weeks later it developed an annoying habit of randomly switching on at all times of day and night. I am pleased to say Volka responded quickly to my problem and sent a replacement switch which arrived within a week. It has operated faultlessly since installing. Many thanks Volka.

Unfortunately this product works great, but comes with no instructions.
Turns out the secret to operation is the spring. This must face towards the diffuser with the PCB on the floor of the channel. You can also trim the spring shorter if you have a shallow extrusion otherwise it flips over and could short out elsewhere.
Operation modes:
Tap gives on/off.
Hold dims up/down, dependent upon the last direction of dimming ie down from initial on)
All in all a great product, but a little bit of printed paper would go a long way for other purchasers!

Product is excellent value for money, very compact and fits within the LED strip-light 8 mm deep aluminium extrusion.
Downside; there are no instructions. However the connections +12, -12, +LED & -LED are intuitively on the printed circuit board, but there is no information on how to position the board for touch operation. Experimentation revealed how to operate the switch/dimmer. Highly recommended!

Created a professional finish, just slide/tap your hand near the blue dot and works perfectly. I could get the dimmer to work but I'm happy just to have the on/off function. Just remember the spring faces towards the difuser.

I noticed this item while purchasing some aluminium led profile and it sparked my interest so i added it to my purchase list. I have since tried its functionality and it is brilliant. Far better than how i had intended to control these leds. Item is extreemly small and takes up no room at all inside the profile and best thing no switches. Brilliant product, thanks Volka...
