Description

Price is per 1 sheet. 1 qty = 1 sheet (480 × 240 mm panel, ~500 × 250 mm once cables are plugged in).

Marble Backlight LED Sheet is a flexible, modular LED panel engineered for even, dot-free backlighting of marble, onyx, and translucent stone. Also ideal for signage, lightboxes, display cabinets, and retail features. Cuttable along section lines and chainable with plug-and-play JST connectors.

Marble wall before LED backlight installed - unlit
Before — unlit marble
Marble wall after LED backlight installed - illuminated with warm white glow
After — backlit with LED sheet

Key features

  • Designed for marble & onyx backlighting
  • Even, wide-spread illumination — warm white 3000 K
  • Cuttable along section lines
  • Plug-and-play JST connectors (no soldering)
  • 3M adhesive backing for direct mounting
  • Flexible board — conforms to slight curves
  • Chainable sheet-to-sheet

What's in the box

  • 1 × LED sheet panel (480 × 240 mm)
  • 2 × JST-to-JST jumper cables (for chaining sheets together)
  • 1 × JST-to-bare-wire power tail (to connect into your 24 V supply)

How it connects

Each sheet has JST sockets around the edges. Use the supplied JST-to-JST jumper cables to chain sheets together, and the JST-to-bare-wire tail to connect into your 24 V power supply — no soldering required.

Important — power injection: A single feed cannot power an unlimited number of sheets. For larger installations, plan multiple power injection points across the layout to maintain even brightness and avoid voltage drop. As a guide, feed power every 4–5 sheets (≈ 72–90 W per feed) depending on cable length and run.

Planning your layout

For best results when backlighting marble or stone, follow these two rules:

  • Keep sheets close together — once cables are plugged in, each sheet takes up roughly 500 × 250 mm of space. Lay sheets out to minimise dark gaps between them so light spreads evenly across the back of the stone.
  • Maintain ~50 mm distance from the stone — the LEDs should sit approximately 5 cm behind the marble or onyx surface. This spacing diffuses the light and prevents hotspots showing through.

Cutting & sizing

The sheet can be cut along the marked section lines between LED modules to suit your project size. Each section remains independently powered through the printed circuit tracks, so cut pieces continue to work when connected back to the supply.

Dimming

This is a constant-voltage LED panel. For on/off operation, connect to a suitable 24 V power supply. For dimming, use a compatible 24 V PWM dimmer or controller.

Selecting the right power supply

Calculate total wattage based on the number of sheets in your layout (18 W × number of sheets), then size your driver with 20% headroom. Use our calculator to select the correct driver.
