Not fit for purpose

Bought two to cater for strip lighting above and below kitchen cabinetry.
First one seemed to work but after installation found that I had to apply external pressure to the connector to keep it operational.
The second one refused to work on all three connections simultaneously. If 1 and 2 worked, then 3 wouldnt. If 1 and 3 worked then 2 wouldnt
Now reverting to soldered connections for continuity and stability
