Description

SPI Pixel LED Controller – 4-in-1 (Digital Single Colour / CCT / RGB / RGBW) is a versatile low-voltage controller for digital addressable ("pixel") LED strips. It converts stored effects into precise SPI data output, giving you hundreds of built-in dynamic modes across four independent output ports — ideal for building facades, architectural and municipal lighting, stage & scenery, entertainment venues, signage and decorative feature lighting.

Key features

  • True 4-in-1 — drives digital single colour, CCT, RGB and RGBW pixel strips
  • 4 SPI output ports, up to 2048 pixels per port
  • 2.4 GHz RF remote control (≤ 20 m) plus on-board buttons & 4-digit display
  • Hundreds of built-in effects with adjustable speed & brightness
  • Master / sub-controller mode for synced multi-unit installs
  • Selectable output type & colour sequence — works with almost any strip
  • Power-off memory — recalls last mode after power cycle
  • Constant-voltage input, wide DC 12–24 V range

Built-in effects

A huge on-board effect library, with an auto-loop mode and a user-defined combination mode in each group:

  • Single colour: 29 modes
  • CCT (tunable white): 54 modes
  • RGB / RGBW: 136 modes

256 grey levels · 99 speed levels for smooth, flicker-free output.

Compatible LED strips & ICs

Works with most popular addressable driver ICs, so it suits a wide range of digital strips and modules:

  • Single colour / CCT / RGB: UCS1903, WS2811, WS2812, WS2813, WS2815, WS2818, TM1804, TM1809, TM1812, SM16703, ICP943, SK6812, SK6813
  • Single colour / CCT / RGBW: UCS2904B, SM16704, SK6812, FW1834

Output type (single colour / CCT / RGB / RGBW) and the LED colour sequence are both selectable on the unit, so you can match the strip without checking its wiring order in advance.

Control & remote options

Control on the unit via the ON/OFF, M/S, UP and DOWN buttons and 4-digit display, or wirelessly with a matching 2.4 GHz RF touch remote for mode, speed, brightness and IC-count adjustment. Two remote families are available (sold separately):

  • Single colour / CCT 2-in-1 remotes — 1-zone touch remote or 4-zone remote
  • RGB / RGBW 2-in-1 remotes — 1-zone touch remote or 4-zone remote

Synchronising multiple controllers

For larger runs, link up to 32 controllers via the synchronisation signal ports. Set one unit as the Master (DIP switch ON) and the rest as Sub-controllers (DIP switch OFF — factory default); the sub-units follow the master's mode and speed for delay-free, perfectly synced effects across the whole install.

Custom combination mode

Build your own looping scene: pick 2–20 of the built-in modes, arrange them into a cyclic sequence, and set an independent change speed for each step — ideal for dialling in a signature look for a facade or venue.

Connections

Screw terminals grouped as: Power input (V+ / V−) · LED output (O1–O4 data + V+) · Synchronisation signal ports (for master/sub linking). A DIP switch sets Master (ON) or Sub-controller (OFF, default).

Easy on-device setup

Set the IC (pixel) count, choose the output LED type and colour sequence, then select your mode, speed and brightness — all from the four buttons and 4-digit display, no computer or app required. A "correct setting" pattern appears on the strip once the type and sequence match, so setup is quick even if the strip's specs are unknown.

What you'll need

This is a controller only. To complete your system you'll also need a compatible addressable (SPI) LED strip and a 12–24 V DC constant-voltage power supply sized to your strip's total wattage. Use our calculator to select the right driver.

Not sure what you need?

If you're unsure which strip, controller or power supply is right for your project, our team is here to help. We'll take the time to understand your application and make sure you get exactly what you need — no guesswork. We can recommend the correct products, prepare pre-cut lengths, solder custom wires, or supply a complete ready-to-install kit with aluminium profile and accessories.
